Merhaba. Bu yazımda TryHackMe üzerinde yer alan c4ptur3-th3-fl4g isimli CTF çözümünü yapacağım. TryHackMe üzerinde yer alan çözmesi zevkli CTF‘lerden olan c4ptur3-th3-fl4g, genellikle cryptography, steganography gibi veri şifreleme ve gizleme metotları ile alakalı sorulardan oluşmaktadır.

Task 2 | Spectrograms
Spegtrogram Nedir ?
Spektrogram, bir sinyalin frekans spektrumunun zamanla değiştiği için görsel bir temsilidir. Bir ses sinyaline uygulandığında, spektrogramlara bazen sonografi, sesli posta veya ses şeması denir. Veriler 3D bir grafikte temsil edildiğinde, şelaleler olarak adlandırılabilir.
İlk soruda bize bir wav dosyası verilmektedir. Bu dosyayı indirerek gizli mesajı bulmamız gerekiyor. Bu soruyu çözerken ben yine online bir program kullanacağım fakat Sonic Visualizer gibi başka çeşitli programlar kullanılabilir. Ben bu çözüm için Spectrum Analyzer uygulamasını kullanacağım.
Verilen dosyayı analiz ettiğimizde mesajı elde ediyoruz.

Task 3 | Steganography
Steganografi Nedir ?
Steganografi, mesajı gömme yoluyla bilgiyi saklama sanatı ve bilimidir. Bu yaklaşım, bir nesnenin içerisine bir verinin gizlenmesi olarak da tanımlanabilir. Bu yaklaşımla ses, sayısal resim, video görüntüleri üzerine veri saklanabilir. Görüntü dosyaları içerisine saklanacak veriler metin dosyası olabileceği gibi, herhangi bir görüntü içerisine gizlenmiş başka bir görüntü dosyası da olabilir. Bu yaklaşımda içine bilgi gizlenen ortama örtü verisi (cover-data), oluşan ortama da stego-metin (stego-text) veya stego-nesnesi (stego-object) denmektedir.
Steganografi de amaç, bir mesajın varlığını saklamak ve bir “covert channel (örtülü kanal)” yaratmaktır. Bu yüzden steganografi, amacı mesajın içeriğini saklamak olan kriptolojinin bir parçası olarak görülebilir. Bununla birlikte bu iki tekniği beraber kullanmakta mümkündür. Bunun için gizli mesaj önce encrypt edilir (şifrelenir), sonra steganografik yöntemlerle dijital bir verinin içerisine saklanabilir.

Resim içerisindeki metin belgesine ulaştıktan sonra “steganopayload2248.txt” isimli dosyayı okuyarak çözümünü yapıyoruz.
